Shortwave films was launched in July 1999 with the primary objective of promoting the emerging film and video a rtists through the medium of events. Subsequently they have expanded and now run training workshops, produce their own films, promotional videos and visuals.

Shortwave films - the future

Shortwave films will be setting up and running a local cinema on Bermondsey Square. They will screen a variety of independent and cult films and also run workshops for teenagers where they can learn to become budding film directors. Come back to us soon for more information on Shortwave
